Biografía

Sonsoles is a senior researcher at the University of Eastern Finland. She holds a PhD in engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain). Her current research focuses on learning analytics and game-based learning. She received IEEE TCLT (2024) and SoLAR Emerging Research in Learning Analytics (2025) awards and a research award for her doctoral thesis from the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain (RADE).
